Yeeeee haaaaa ……. Lebaran
days is approaching.
Speaking of Ramadan, regardless of the fact that my belief/faith/watchamacallit
is undoubtedly questionable, I’m still gonna fast.
It’s a habit.
A good one, I might say.
For the past several years, I’ve thought of Ramadan as my ‘annual
detoxification period‘. It’s better than self-enrollment to Betty Ford and
the likes.
Government has made a decision the fasting will starts on the 24th.
Oh goody, yes, the time has moved forward!
I remember the first Ramadan I had in England, it was only around 9 hours
of fasting. Now with the day still being longer than the night, I’m looking at
more than 13 hours.
In 2008, it will be…
Hmm… too far ahead in the future. I’ll worry about that later.
Anyhow, without any hidden agenda or political/religious message whatsover, I’d
like to wish you a peaceful Ramadan to those who celebrate.
The rest of you, do behave and restrain yourself from luring me with
temptations. You’re blessed with 11 months in a year to do so, the exact same
time I’ve got to gladly accept and respond accordingly.
